Please observe laws regarding disposal of household hazardous materials (“HHM”)!

There have been recent incidents in which District residents are disposing of motor oil with regular garbage. Doing so is illegal and you will be ticketed and/or arrested and will be responsible for ALL clean-up costs.

HHW can be taken to: Harris County HHW Collection at 6900 Hahl Road, Houston, Texas 77040. Check with your local auto parts store regarding their motor oil recycling services.

Due to precautions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the electronic waste recycling on April 4, 2020 has been canceled. The next opportunity is tentatively scheduled for September. Please check back for more details in the coming months.

A section in Atascocita Forest did not have its garbage collected today. Trash collection will continue in the morning.
