Disposal of Household Hazardous Materials

Please observe laws regarding disposal of household hazardous materials (“HHM”)!

There have been recent incidents in which District residents are disposing of motor oil with regular garbage. Doing so is illegal and you will be ticketed and/or arrested and will be responsible for ALL clean-up costs.

HHW can be taken to: Harris County HHW Collection at 6900 Hahl Road, Houston, Texas 77040. Check with your local auto parts store regarding their motor oil recycling services.

For Sale: Traffic Logix Corp SafePace450 Solar Power (“SP450”)

Trail of the Lakes Municipal Utility District offers for sale in as-is condition the Traffic Logix Corp SafePace450 Solar Power (“SP450”), driver feedback sign.  The SP450 was purchased in new condition in March 2018 and was in service from April 10, 2018 to August 28, 2018.  Note:  The SP450 does not meet the Harris County standards for driver feedback signs.  The District makes no warranties or representations regarding the condition of the SP450.

Standard features for the SP450 are as follows:

  • Sign powers down when no traffic present
  • Programmable Speed Violator Flashing Strobe Light
  • Ambient Light Sensor and Automatic Brightness adjustment
  • Banding Mount Bracket
  • Sale Pace Management Software
  • Bluetooth

Bids will be opened and considered by the Board of Directors at the June 1, 2020 Board of Directors meeting.  The District reserves the right to reject any and all submitted bids.
